# Sync Transactions and Receipts to Accounting Software with Husk

> Husk Accounting integrations sync categorized transactions and receipts to your bookkeeping tools. Automate exports and reduce month-end close time.

Husk Accounting integrations let you push categorized transactions, matched receipts, and expense tags directly into your bookkeeping software. Instead of manually exporting CSVs or re-keying data, you can keep your general ledger up to date in real time. This page explains the sync flow and how to connect your accounting tool.

## How the sync works

When you classify a transaction in Husk, the system applies a category mapped to your chart of accounts. Matched receipts are attached to the transaction record. Husk then exports the enriched transaction to your accounting tool on a schedule you choose: immediately, daily, or at month end.

## Connect your accounting software

  <Step title="Open Integrations">
    In Husk, go to **Settings** > **Integrations** and select **Accounting**.

  <Step title="Map categories">
    Match Husk expense categories to your chart of accounts. You only need to do this once; future transactions use the same mapping automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set sync frequency">
    Choose whether to sync in real time, once per day, or on demand.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## After the first sync

Check your accounting tool for the test transaction Husk creates during setup. If the category, amount, and receipt attachment look correct, approve the mapping. From then on, your team’s expenses flow through automatically.

<Note>
  Husk supports major European accounting tools. If your provider is not listed, export transactions as CSV from Husk and import them manually, or contact support to request a connector.
