# 24/7 Transaction Monitoring and Fraud Detection on Husk

> Husk monitors every card and bank transaction in real time, flagging rogue spend, budget leaks, and unusual patterns before they turn into losses.

Husk transaction monitoring runs continuously across every connected card and bank account, catching unauthorized charges, budget leaks, and unusual patterns as they happen. Finance teams see flagged transactions in one view instead of piecing together anomalies at month-end.

## What Husk monitors

* **Rogue spend**: transactions outside a card's normal pattern (new merchant, larger amount, unusual time)
* **Budget leaks**: subscription creep or vendor charges that quietly grow month over month
* **Duplicate charges**: identical transactions billed twice
* **Failed 3DS attempts**: repeated challenges from the same card, a possible sign of a compromised number
* **Cross-account anomalies**: unexpected transfers or drawdowns across your connected banks

## Review flagged transactions

    Go to the Insights dashboard and click **Flagged transactions**.

    Each flag shows the reason, the transaction details, and comparable historical charges so you can decide quickly.

    Approve (dismiss the flag), freeze the card, or open a dispute directly from the flag.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Adjust rules">
    If a flag was a false positive, mark it as expected. Husk learns and stops flagging similar transactions.

## Configure alerts

<Tip>
  Send flags to Slack, WhatsApp, or email under **Settings** > **Alerts**. Route different flag types to different channels: fraud to finance, budget leaks to department leads.
